Hyatt's all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean are one of the best redemptions in the entire points and miles world. Your points cover everything: the room, all meals at multiple restaurants, unlimited drinks (including top-shelf), pools, activities, and entertainment. No resort fees. No hidden charges. Just points for a fully loaded vacation.

And because World of Hyatt points transfer 1:1 from Chase Ultimate Rewards, anyone earning points through the Chase ecosystem can book these properties. A single Chase Sapphire Preferred welcome bonus of 75,000 points could cover three to five nights at an all-inclusive resort for two.

The Properties

Hyatt operates two flagship all-inclusive brands: Hyatt Ziva (family-friendly) and Hyatt Zilara (adults only). After acquiring Apple Leisure Group, Hyatt also added Secrets, Dreams, Breathless, and Zoetry resorts to its portfolio, all bookable with World of Hyatt points.

Key Insight

At 25,000 points per night, a Hyatt Ziva Cancun stay for two covers the room, all meals at 17 restaurants, unlimited drinks, water sports, and nightly entertainment. The same stay booked with cash runs $500 to $800+ per night. That is 2 to 3 cents per point in value, among the highest in the hotel world.

How to Book with Chase Points

1

Transfer Chase UR to World of Hyatt

Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to World of Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio. The transfer is instant. You need a Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, or Ink Business Preferred to access transfer partners.

2

Search on Hyatt.com

Log in to your World of Hyatt account and search for your dates. Toggle to "Points" view to see award pricing. Be sure to enter the correct number of guests, as all-inclusive pricing varies by occupancy.

3

Use Globalist Status for Upgrades

Hyatt Globalist members receive suite upgrades at check-in when available, plus club lounge access and late checkout. Earning Globalist through credit card spending and stays can significantly elevate the all-inclusive experience.

Why Hyatt Over Other Hotel Programs

When it comes to transferring credit card points to hotel loyalty programs, Hyatt stands alone. Chase points transfer 1:1 and consistently deliver 3 to 5 cents per point. Compare that to Marriott (roughly 0.7 cents per point) or Hilton (about 0.5 cents per point). The math is not close, and it is the reason experienced travel hackers prioritize Hyatt above all other hotel programs.

Ziva vs. Zilara

Hyatt Ziva properties are family-friendly and tend to be larger, with kids' clubs, water slides, and family-oriented activities. Hyatt Zilara properties are adults only (18+), with a more relaxed atmosphere, quieter pools, and a focus on couples and groups. Both brands share the same quality of food, drinks, and service. At several locations (Cancun, Montego Bay, Cap Cana), the Ziva and Zilara sit side by side, so couples can enjoy the Zilara while families with children stay at the Ziva next door.

An all-inclusive vacation where everything is covered by credit card points. That is the endgame of the Chase ecosystem.
